Flores de Sevilla
An International dance group.
Flores de Sevilla was formed in Indianapolis in 1983 by Faten A. Munger who is the director and lead dancer.
Faten is an Egyptian-American who has resided in Indiana since 1981.
Faten's study of Spanish dancing began in Seville, Spain, in 1982. Afterwards she studied at Northeastern Illinois University, and, in 1986, she completed her advanced studies in Madrid, Spain, under Saturnino Gonzales.
Her other teachers have included Dama Libby Komaiko, Paco Alonso, Manolo Vargas, Sergio Bahamondes, Victorio Korjhan, Maria Alba and Manolo Rivera in the United States and Maria Magdalena and El Guito in Spain.
